Free tool · runs in your browser
Pie chart maker: share of the whole, in one picture.
Type labels and numbers, get a pie or donut card with percentages worked out and logos on the slices you name.
Start from real data
Slices run largest first, clockwise from 12 o'clock, so the biggest share is read first.
When a pie chart is the right call
Use it for parts of one whole that add up to 100%: share of views, of revenue, of votes. Keep it to six slices or fewer and say what the whole is in the subtitle.
If you are comparing sizes that do not add up to a whole, or more than eight things, a bar chart reads faster. The giants mostly post bars and lines for that reason. See the donut charts the giants posted.
Questions people ask
How do I make a pie chart?
Type one slice per line as a label and a number, for example Coffee, 42. The tool adds the numbers, works out each slice's percentage, sorts the slices from largest to smallest and draws the chart. Download the PNG or copy a link that rebuilds the same chart.
Do my numbers need to add up to 100?
No. Enter raw counts or amounts and the percentages are worked out for you. If you enter percentages that already add to 100, they stay as they are.
Where does the example data come from?
From ViralChart's index of charts the giants post on X: the public view counts of each chart, summed by company for the last 30 days, read on 2026-10-28.
Is anything I type uploaded?
No. The chart is drawn in your browser. A share link stores the chart in the link itself, so only people you send it to can see it.
