📰More exciting news today: @xai's latest Grok-3 tops the Arena leaderboard! 🔥
Why it spread
It spread because it announced a hot topic that week, with 2,305 likes, 267 reposts, 155 quotes, 213 saves and 5,915,370 views, which is 115.3x the account's typical likes of 20.
What worked
- The post tied a timely news moment to a clear leaderboard claim, which drove many quotes.
- The framing was simple and direct: one model tied for top rank overall and across several named prompt categories.
- It showed a source line and leaned on a large vote count, giving the claim some visible backing.
What to borrow
We could pair our own chart with a timely news hook talents already care about, state one clear ranking takeaway, and keep the source line visible.
Careful
Do not over-read the low design polish or medium self-labelling as the cause, and do not assume the same framing will travel without a hot topic and a strong quote-driving claim.
